The team’s star player, Caitlin Clark, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming season during her appearance on ESPN’s Bird & Taurasi Show.
“On paper, we have a really strong team,” Clark said. She then noted the urgency for the Fever to quickly mesh, given the influx of new players joining the core group.
“But I believe we’ll be really strong,” she continued. “We’ve definitely added a lot more experience, which is exactly what we needed.”

She also highlighted that the 2024 team was quite young and lacked postseason experience, stressing the importance of the new players in addressing this.
