WYN have linked up with fellow Algerian-rooted streetwear label Amazeeri, dropping a collection that honours North African football.
Named ‘Friends Without Borders’, the three-piece collection celebrates the ties between Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco, featuring reversible home and away style jerseys that draw inspiration from each country’s shared and individual identities, all while nodding to their indigenous roots.
Arriving in a pan-Arab colour palette of red, green and white, each design takes visual cues from their respective nation’s flags, from Morocco’s pentacle to Algeria and Tunisia’s use of the crescent moon and star. Subtle jacquards feature throughout, including styles synonymous with Amazigh patterns.
On the back of each jersey reads the national team’s nickname, with a small graphic print on the nape pointing to that. Meanwhile, the choice of ’24’ as the accompanying number references WYN’s founding date, with this being the latest football-inspired release to come during their debut year.
The WYN x Amazeeri ‘Friends Without Borders’ collection is available online.
