The Carmi-White County Wrestling team defeated Fairfield last night by a final score of 47-24.
Kenny Clark, Connor Benham, Nolan Garner, Jazz Duckworth, Cole Evans, and Branson Burnett all won their matches by pin.
Gage Anderson and Nolan Aud both won by forfeit.
The Bulldog Wrestlers will travel to Marion tomorrow for a dual tournament. They will begin with pool play with Centralia, Breese Central, and Benton to start the day at 9 AM.
The Carmi-White County Girls Basketball team defeated Flora last night on the road by a final score of 66-25.
The Lady Bulldogs improve their record to 10-0 and 4-0 in the Black Diamond Conference.
Eva Attebury led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with a career-high 24 points.
Caroline Simmons scored 12.
Natalie Goemaat and Quincy Acord both scored 3.
Carmi will have a few days off before they travel to Olney next Tuesday. The Lady Dogs will then host Robinson next Thursday before traveling to Murray, Kentucky next Saturday for the Calloway County Hardwood Classic. The Lady Bulldogs will face Logan County out of Russellville, Kentucky.
The Carmi-White County Boys Basketball team will travel to Flora tonight for their first conference game of the season. The Bulldogs come in with an 0-5 record as they’re looking for their first win of the year. Meanwhile Flora is 1-4 on the year and 0-1 in the BDC, they fell to Fairfield back on Tuesday 54-48.

The Bulldogs then be back in action again tomorrow, they will host Sesser-Valier at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium for their first home game of the year.
