FC Dinamo Tbilisi has been proactive in the 2025 transfer window, balancing experienced signings and youth development while reshuffling their roster.
Veteran midfielder Jaba Kankava returned to the club on a one-year deal, bringing leadership to the squad. Former Dinamo player Ștefan Sicaci also rejoined after several seasons away. Other notable additions include Daniel Owusu from Samtredia, Tornike Morchiladze from Telavi, and John Arthur from Portuguese side Felgueiras. Midfielder Valerian Gvilia and Ukrainian defender Bohdan Potalov arrived as free agents, while young Brazilian Adrian Cesar Rodriguez signed from Fluminense.
The club also strengthened via the loan market, with Léo Assunpção joining from PSTC and Nikoloz Kutateladze arriving from Russian side Pari NN.
On the departure front, 17-year-old prodigy Vakhtang Salia made headlines with his transfer to Newcastle United, a move that underscores Dinamo’s success in developing young talent. Several players—including Levan Osikmashvili, Aleksandre Kalandadze, and Vasilios Gordeziani—left on loan, while six others departed on free transfers.
These changes highlight Dinamo Tbilisi’s intent to remain competitive at home and on the European stage
