Wolves are preparing for a huge relegation six-pointer against Ipswich Town this weekend.
With a sizable lead over the bottom three, many supporters believed Vitor Pereira’s team was secure, feeling there was little chance of Ipswich or Leicester City catching up to them.
However, Ipswich secured an impressive 2-1 victory over Bournemouth on Wednesday night, narrowing the gap to just nine points.
Kieran McKenna’s squad now faces a crucial showdown with Wolves, with one of their standout players uncertain due to injury.
Omari Hutchinson could miss Ipswich Town vs Wolves
Although Ipswich find themselves in 18th position, they do have some danger man that Pereira should be wary of.

Liam Delap, who joined from Manchester City for £20 million in the summer, has netted 11 Premier League goals this season, including one in the win over Bournemouth on Wednesday.
McKenna also has a wealth of attacking talent at his disposal, with standout players including Jack Clarke, Jaden Philogene, Julio Enciso, and Omari Hutchinson.
Ipswich secured the “outstanding” Omari Hutchinson from Chelsea for around £20 million after a successful loan spell last season, and the 21-year-old has remained a key player in 2024/25.
However, the England under-21 international is uncertain for this weekend’s match after missing the win over Bournemouth, as McKenna confirmed.
“Omari picked up an issue in his first session back from international duty with England U21s, and we’re not sure how long he’ll be out,” McKenna said.
Additionally, McKenna confirmed that wing-back Leif Davis is also unavailable, explaining, “Leif has a bit of a strange injury, and we are still assessing exactly what it is and the recovery timeline.”
