A shooter is in custody after an incident at a Collier County-owned sports complex Friday, Dec. 12, with one person taken to the hospital
Collier County Sheriff’s Office posted on social media that the shooting was about 10:30 a.m. at Paradise Coast Sports Complex. 3940 City Gate Blvd. N.
Deputies quickly took the suspect into custody, the post relayed, also indicating it is an isolated incident.
Deputies remained on processing evidence and interviewing witnesses.
Paradise Coast is a multi-acre complex that hosts tournaments, including youth travel soccer, lacrosse and football.
