With all bye weeks in the rearview mirror, every NFL team is in action in Week 15. That means it’s a full sprint from here through the end of the season as playoff races tighten.

While the prime-time games dominated the calendar in Week 14, Sunday’s daytime contests highlight the Week 15 slate. The New England Patriots will try to put the AFC East to bed with a season sweep of the Buffalo Bills in the early window, while the Baltimore Ravens badly need a win over the Cincinnati Bengals to get back on track in the AFC North race.

The late window features two games with heavy playoff implications for both sides. The Denver Broncos are looking to extend their win streak to 11 as they host the NFC North-leading Green Bay Packers, while the Los Angeles Rams can lock up a playoff berth and damage the Detroit Lions’ playoff hopes with a win.

The biggest stories of Week 15 could reside in Seattle, by way of Indianapolis. 44-year-old Philip Rivers came out of retirement to join the Indianapolis Colts after Daniel Jones’ season-ending injury, and he could potentially start against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, setting the stage for a spectacle no one saw coming.

In Kansas City, the Chiefs’ season is on the line. The Chiefs can be eliminated in Week 15, but a victory over the Los Angeles Chargers would guarantee Kansas City stays alive into Week 16. A loss wouldn’t eliminate the Chiefs outright, but other results on Sunday could end their playoff streak in that scenario.
