Amad and Bryan Mbeumo will be available for Manchester United’s game against Bournemouth today despite it falling on the deadline day for players to report to their national teams for the Africa Cup of Nations.
An agreement has been reached with Ivory Coast and Cameroon respectively to let Amad and Mbeumo travel after the Premier League game. Both teams do not begin their AFCON campaigns until December 24.
The availability of defender Noussair Mazraoui, however, is uncertain, with hosts Morocco playing the tournament’s opening game against Comoros on Sunday.
And as Laurie Whitwell reported, there are still questions over striker Benjamin Sesko’s availability for tonight’s fixture.
He was expected to be fit after his injury but has been ill for three days with food poisoning. The club will make a call on the extent of his recovery, and the player is pushing to feature.
