On June 4, 2025, key figures from the organization — including Jim Rutherford (president of hockey operations), Patrik Allvin (general manager), Michael Doyle (president of business operations), and Dax Aquilini (son of co-owner Roberto Aquilini) — were observed touring the Rosemary Brown Recreation Centre in south Burnaby.
The facility, which opened its doors in April 2024, contains two NHL-regulation rinks, an essential component for the Canucks’ requirements. The organization has also expressed the need for approximately 20,000 square feet of extra space to accommodate medical, gym, and office areas in addition to locker rooms and the rinks themselves. Nearby, Byrne Creek Secondary School lies to the west of the centre, while the SkyTrain maintenance yard is just a short distance away.
In addition to the Rosemary Brown centre, the Canucks are also looking at the Britannia rink in east Vancouver as they evaluate potential sites for their permanent practice home.
