Fortunately, it was dry for the 20-lap British Grand Prix on Sunday at Silverstone despite being chilly and overcast. In the Saturday Sprint, Brad Binder and teammate Jack Miller had secured fourth and seventh place at the long course and set of swift, flowing turns. The team then modified the factory KTM RC16s’ colors to match the company’s unique livery in order to participate in the 75th anniversary celebration of MotoGP. In the morning warm-up, the pair recorded P1 and P3, starting the day strong.
When it came time for the main race, Brad started from sixth position on the grid, but it was obvious he was having a technical problem because he was unable to finish the lap.
For its eighth year of world-class home Grand Prix competition, MotoGP travels to the Red Bull Ring in Austria, another iconic location.

“Not much to discuss. Sadly, I was unable to leave the line due to a little clutch problem. I had to park it when I attempted to return to the pits to swap bikes. We had made some modifications to the bike this morning, and with the medium tire, it was the fastest I had gone all weekend. We were aware that the race would have been difficult from start to finish, but at least we had won the warm-up. My team is working really hard, and today we attempted something new. We shall have to retry in Austria.
