Before the first Grand Prix of the season, Francesco Bagnaia signed a contract extension with Ducati until 2026, consolidating his MotoGP career ahead of many competitors who had not yet secured a contract until 2025.
As he stated at the press conference, the 2022 and 2023 champion is in a position where his only concern is to achieve his goals on track with a team he feels extremely comfortable with:
‘The fact that I have no options left makes me a bit envious [laughs]. It’s excellent. I don’t need to ask for anything more because I feel everything is great. The bike is the best, I love my team, we are working together to do extraordinary things and the progress we are making is fantastic.”
As a result, Bagnaia noted that his stability allows him to focus solely on the race: “I am incredibly happy and this definitely gives me more stability because I don’t have to think about anything else and I can only focus on the objective.
