Bagnaia led the championship this past weekend with 37 points, having won both of the races that were staged. With two second-place results, Jorge Martín gave up first place to his opponent, scoring eight points less than him.
Enea Bastianini maintained his third place and closed the gap with Marc Márquez: he scored 22 points in Austria compared to the Spaniard’s 13 points, meaning that the margin is now exactly 22 points.
