After finishing eighth in the lengthy German GP race, Brad Binder disclosed that the team has been making do with the KTM RC16 and has not been able to upgrade the package. The rider stated that the previous few races have been more difficult for him.
“We haven’t had an update on the bike for a long time, that’s for sure, so I think we have to have an understanding of the direction to follow,” the South African said on Sunday following the race, confirming the absence of news.
The rider clarified, “We changed the bike’s balance a lot this weekend and did things that we had never done before, things that they don’t make sense, but that make the bike better, so clearly we have to understand things a little better.” As a result, the team and rider were able to achieve some results in this area by working with what they had.
With Pol Espargaró as the main character, I also hope for news: “I think Pol will test this week, and I hope he will bring us a rocket in three weeks.”
