After a fantastic start to the Italian GP Tissot Sprint, Binder became victorious in the Qatar Airways Best Take Off competition.
Action-packed racing took place all weekend long at the Gran Premio d’Italia Brembo, particularly during the Tissot Sprint. One of the highlights of the Sprint was Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Brad Binder, who took home the Qatar Airways Best Take Off trophy from the Italian Grand Prix following a spectacular start that sent Binder all the way to fourth place on the first lap’s departure of San Donato.
After a difficult qualifying session in which the #33 was not able to clear Q1, Binder started the Sprint from P13 on the grid. For Binder, this meant that the start was critical, and he executed a spectacular launch off the line to pass nine riders. Binder fought valiantly for the final 11 circuits, crossing the finish line in sixth place and earning crucial Championship points.
